DVD Player Unit Removal/Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and the precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
- If a disc is loaded remove it before continuing.

1. Remove the center lower cover.




2. Remove the screws and pull out the DVD player unit (A).
3. Remove the wire harness clip (B), then disconnect the 22P connector and digital audio 2P connector (C) from the DVD player unit.




4. Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the bracket.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the DVD player unit connectors are plugged in properly. Then test the DVD player unit operation.
