Trunk / Liftgate: Service and Repair
Power Tailgate Outside Beeper Test/Replacement 1.
Remove the rear
bumper.
2.
Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the power
tailgate beeper (B), then remove the beeper.
3.
Test the beeper by connecting battery power to the No. 1 terminal and ground to the No. 2 terminal. The beeper should click.
4.
If the beeper does not click, replace it.
