Brake Pedal Position Switch Test

1. Disconnect the brake pedal position switch connector, and remove the switch.




2. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and the No. 2 terminals of the brake pedal position switch connector. There should be continuity when the button (A) is pressed.
3. Check for continuity between the No. 3 and the No. 4 terminals. There should be continuity when the button is released.
4. If the brake pedal position switch is faulty, replace it.
5. Install the brake pedal position switch, and adjust it.
