Third Row Seat Latch Cable Replacement

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to kink the cables.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the third row seat Third Row Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Remove these items from the seat frame:

- Seat-back cover/pad Third Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly
- Seat cushion cover/pad Third Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly

3. Reassemble the left seat-back frame or the left seat cushion frame Third Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly.

4. From the back of the seat foot (A), detach the clips, then remove the rear cover (B).

5. Disconnect the latch cable from the latch Third Row Seat Latch Replacement.

6. Release the wire tie (A) fastening the latch cable (B) on the foot frame (C).

7. Release the wire ties (A) fastening the latch cable (B) on the seat cushion frame (C), then remove the cable.

8. Install the latch cable in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Make sure the latch cables are connected securely.
- Make sure the third row seat latches and unlatches properly.
