CKP Sensor Replacement (Except J35A7)




CKP Sensor Replacement

J35A6 engine, J35A7 engine ('07 model)

1. Move the auto-tensioner to remove tension from the drive belt, then remove the belt Drive Belt Replacement (J35A6).

2. Remove the crankshaft pulley; J35A6 engine Crankshaft Pulley Removal and Installation (J35A6), J35A7 engine Crankshaft Pulley Removal and Installation (J35A7).

3. Remove the upper and lower front covers from the engine; J35A6 engine Timing Belt Removal (J35A6), J35A7 engine Timing Belt Removal (J35A7).

4. Remove the CKP sensor (A) from the oil pump.





5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

6. Do the CKP pattern clear/CKP pattern learn procedure Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.
