Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Unit Replacement

'07 model

Removal

1. Slide the seat all the way to the rear.

2. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure Procedures, then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

3. Disconnect the front passenger's weight sensor unit connector (A) and weight sensor connectors (B).





4. Remove the mounting bolts (C) and the front passenger's weight sensor unit (D) from the seat riser.

Installation

NOTE: Be sure to install the harness wires so they are not pinched or interfering with other parts.

1. Place the front passenger's weight sensor unit (A) on the seat riser. Tighten the two mounting bolts (B).





2. Connect the front passenger's weight sensor unit connector (C) and weight sensor connectors (D).

3. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure Procedures.

4. Clear any DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

5. Do the front passenger's weight sensor initialization Programming and Relearning.

6. Confirm proper operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
