Ignition Switch Replacement

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Technician Safety Information before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure Procedures.

2. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover Removal/Installation, and the steering column covers Steering Column Cover Removal/Installation.

3. Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the ignition switch (B).





4. Remove the two screws and the ignition switch.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

6. Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure Procedures.
