Grab Handle Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE: Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the caps (A) and the screws, then remove the grab handle (B).






2. Install the grab handle in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the side curtain airbag has deployed, replace the grab handles, along with the other parts listed for side curtain airbag deployment Service and Repair.
- If the side curtain airbag has not deployed, inspect the grab handle (A) for damage. A damaged grab handle may cause the side curtain airbags to deploy improperly, possibly causing injury. Replace the grab handle if it has any cracks or damage.
