Windshield Side Trim Replacement

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the other trim or the body.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Pull up the top edge on the windshield side trim (A) to release the hooks (B).






2. Pull up the top edge of the windshield side trim (A), and hold it, then slide the trim rearward along the A-pillar to release the clips (B) from the retainers (C). The retainers will stay in the body.






3. Replace any damaged clips (A) on the windshield side trim (B) or any damaged retainers (C) on the body.










4. Hold up the windshield side trim, and insert the bottom edge of the trim into the hood hinge cover (A). Align the top edge of the trim with the front edge of the roof side front trim (B), and fit the clips (C) into the retainers (D), then push on the trim until the hooks (E) and the clips snap into place.
