Shift Interlock Switch: Testing and Inspection

Park Pin Switch Test

1. Remove the center console Center Console Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the A/T gear position indicator panel light/park pin switch 4P connector (A).





3. Check for continuity between connector terminals No. 3 and No. 4.

- There should be continuity when the shift lever is moved to P.
- There should be continuity when the shift lever is moved out of P.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the park pin switch A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Light Harness/Park Pin Switch Replacement.
