Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Testing and Inspection
Security Hood Switch Test
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the front grille cover:
- 4-door Front Grille Cover Replacement (4-Door)
- 2-door Front Grille Cover Replacement (2-Door)
3. '11-12 models: Remove the front grill stay.
4. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the security hood switch.
5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, the security hood switch is faulty; replace the hood latch Service and Repair.
