Door Lock Knob Switch Test

Driver's Door

1. Remove the driver's door panel:

- 4-door Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (4-Door)
- 2-door Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (2-Door)

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door lock actuator (B).






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not as specified, the door lock knob switch is faulty; replace the driver's door latch Service and Repair.

Passenger Doors (With Security)

1. Remove the passenger's door panel:

- Front passenger's door Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (4-Door)
- Left and Right rear door Rear Door Panel Removal/Installation (4-Door)

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door lock actuator (B).






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not specified, the door lock knob switch is faulty; replace the door latch:

- Front passenger's door Service and Repair

- Left and Right rear door Service and Repair
