Battery Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Battery Sensor





1. Make sure the ignition switch is in LOCK (0).

2. Disconnect the connector from the battery sensor (A).

3. Remove the battery sensor from the battery.

4. Remove the cover (B).

5. Remove the negative terminal (C).

NOTE: Do not hold the battery sensor connector (D), for protecting from damage when removing the negative terminal.

Installation

1. Battery Sensor





1. Install the negative terminal (A) on the battery sensor (B).

NOTE:
* Make sure between the negative terminal and battery sensor are clean.
* Do not hold the battery sensor connector (D), for protecting from damage when installing the negative terminal.

2. Install the cover (C).

3. Install the battery sensor to the battery.

4. Connect the connector to the battery sensor.

5. Apply multipurpose grease to the terminal to prevent corrosion.
