Intake Manifold Removal and Installation

Exploded View





Removal

1. Remove the engine cover (A).






2. Disconnect the EGR valve connector (A) and the PCV hose (B).





3. Remove the engine wire harness holder (C) and the dipstick (D).

4. Remove the intake manifold (A).





5. Disassemble the intake manifold.

NOTE: Refer to the Exploded View if needed during this procedure.

Installation

1. Reassemble the intake manifold.

NOTE: Refer to the Exploded View if needed during this procedure.

2. Install the intake manifold (A) with new gaskets (B).

NOTE: Tighten the bolts and nuts in a crisscross pattern in three steps, beginning with the inner bolt.






3. Install the engine wire harness holder (A) and the dipstick (B).





4. Connect the PCV hose (C) and the EGR valve connector (D).

5. Install the engine cover (A).
