NOTE: Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.

1. Problem verification:

-1. Test-drive the vehicle at freeway speeds and monitor the volume level.

Is the volume level too high, or too low?
-YES- The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
-NO- Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

2. Operation check:

Operation check
-1. Change the SVC mode setting in sound set-up to SVC MID.

Is the volume level still too high, or too low?
-YES- Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal and Installation.
-YES- Replace the audio unit Audio Unit Removal and Installation.
-NO- Improper SVC setting for the customers sound taste.
