Service Information

CVTF Temperature Sensor Test

Removal

1. Intake Air Duct





1. Remove the intake air duct.

2. Intake Air Pipe





1. Remove the intake air pipe.

3. Solenoid Wire Harness Connector - Disconnection





1. Disconnect the connector.

Test

1. CVTF Temperature Sensor - Test




NOTE: The CVTF temperature sensor is not available separately from the lower valve body.

1. Measure the CVTF temperature sensor resistance between solenoid wire harness 7P connector terminals No. 5 and No. 6.








* If the resistance is within the standard, and the test is complete.
* If the resistance is out of the standard, replace the CVTF temperature sensor/lower valve body.

Installation

1. Solenoid Wire Harness Connector - Reconnection





1. Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary.

2. Connect the connector.

2. Intake Air Pipe





1. Install the intake air pipe.

3. Intake Air Duct





1. Install the intake air duct.
