Power Tailgate Inside Switch Test/Replacement

1. Carefully pry out the power tailgate inside switch (A), and disconnect the 5P connector (B) from the switch.

2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

3. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb(s) (C). If the bulb(s) are OK, replace the switch.

4. Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
