Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to kink the cable.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat cushion cover.

1. Remove the driver's front seat Removal and Replacement.

2. Remove the seat-back cover/pad Service and Repair.

3. Remove the cable band (A) fastening the lumbar support cable (B).






4. Remove the upper wires (A) from both seat-back side frames (B) inside the seat-back.






5. Release the lower wires (A) from both active head restraint links (B) inside the seat-back.






6. Remove the lumbar support motor cover (A).

1. Release the cover from the lower hooks (B).

2. Pull the cover upward to release it from the upper hook (C).





7. Disconnect the lumbar support motor connector (A). Remove the nuts, and separate the lumbar support motor (B) from the seat frame, then remove the lumbar support.






8. Install the lumbar support in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
