Blower Unit Removal/Installation

1. Remove the glove box Service and Repair and passenger's dashboard undercover Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation.

2. Remove the glove box damper.

3. Remove the passenger's middle panel Dashboard Passengers Middle Panel Removal/Installation.

4. With navigation: Remove the stereo amplifier Service and Repair.

5. Remove the engine mount control unit Service and Repair.

6. With cool box: Remove the cool box inlet hose (A).






7. Detach the harness clips (A), then remove the self-tapping screw (B), the self-tapping screws (C), and the passenger's heater duct and cover (D).






8. With USB adapter: Detach the harness clips (A).





9. Remove the self-tapping screws (B).

10. Cut the plastic cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain the plastic cross brace to be reinstalled later.






11. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the front blower motor. Detach the harness clips (B) and the connector clip (C).






12. Disconnect the connector (A) from the recirculation control motor. Remove the self-tapping screws, the mounting nuts, and the blower unit (B).






13. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.
