Rear Blower Motor Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove the center console Center Console Removal/Installation.

2. With HandsFreeLink Telephone, remove the Hands FreeLink Telephone control unit Service and Repair. With navigation, remove the active noise cancellation unit Service and Repair and the Hands FreeLink Telephone control unit Service and Repair.

3. Remove the relay block (A).





4. Remove the bolt and ground terminal (B), then remove the bolts and the bracket (C).

5. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the rear blower motor (B), then remove the wire harness clips (C). Remove the self-tapping screws and the rear blower motor from the rear HVAC unit.





6. Install the motor in the reverse order of removal.
