Seat Heater Test

Driver's Seat

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the driver's seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) and 3P connector (B) from the seat heater.





3. Check for continuity between seat-back heater 3P connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3. There should be continuity.

4. Check for continuity between seat-cushion heater 4P connector terminal No. 2 and seat-back heater 3P connector terminal No. 2, seat-cushion heater 4P connector terminals No. 3 and No. 4, and seat-cushion heater 4P connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3. There should be continuity.

5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the appropriate seat heater.

Front Passenger's Seat

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the front passenger's seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the seat heater.





3. Check for continuity between seat heater 4P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3, and terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the seat heater.
