Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement - No. 1) .
2. Remove the armrest, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement) .
3. Partially remove the seat-back cover in order to gain access to the retaining bolts. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement) .
4. Remove the bolts from the seat-back frame.
5. Remove the seat-back frame (4) from the seat back cushion frame.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seat-back frame (4) to the seat cushion frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the bolts which retain the seat-back frame to the seat cushion frame.

Tighten the bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

3. Install the seat-back cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement) .
4. Install the armrest to the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement) .
5. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement - No. 1) .
