Midgate Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement ().
2. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
3. Remove the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.
4. Slide the window regulator assembly to one side of the structure.




5. Disconnect the midgate window regulator electrical connector.
6. Remove the regulator from the midgate. A slight twisting motion is required for removal.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the window regulator to the midgate.
2. Connect the window regulator electrical connector.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.

Tighten the window regulator nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

4. Install the midgate window. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
5. Inspect and adjust the midgate window alignment to the weatherstrip channel. Refer to Midgate Window Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
6. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Inner Panel Replacement ().
