Pistons and rings are available in standard size and oversizes of .010, .020, .030 and .039 inch, Fig. 32. Oversized pins are not available. On 2.4L/4-143.4 engine, position each piston ring gap as far apart as possible. Ensure each piston and rod is installed in the same cylinder bore as removed.
