Throughout this 1992 Elantra Electrical Troubeshooting Manual is a choice between EARLY PRODUCTION. and LATE PRODUCTION Information shown on the Circuit Schematics.


Elantra's that qualify as EARLY PRODUCTION, are models that were built betore July 1991. These models use a main harness part number with the last number of the prefix being a 0 (zero). example; 911 30-2804Q - GL, MT. This number Is displayed on the right side of the dash fuse box, and is accessible by removing the fuse box cover panel.


Elantra's that qualify as LATE PRODUCTION, are models that were built after June 1991. These models use a main harness part number with the last prefix being a 1, example; 91130-28041 = GL, MT. This number is displayed on the right side of the dash fuse box, and is accessible by removing the fuse box cover panel.
