Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, drain cooling system and discharge and recover refrigerant as outlined in Technician Safety Information.
2. Remove heater hoses and evaporator drain hose.
3. Disconnect suction and liquid lines.
4. Remove console, glove compartment, then the main lower crash pad and center fascia panel.
5. Remove heater control.
6. Remove lower crash pad center skin assembly.
7. Remove crash pad center support bracket.
8. Remove evaporator.
9. Remove rear heating joint duct assembly.

11. Reverse procedure to install.
