Electrical Precautions

CONNECTION AND CIRCUIT PRECAUTIONS
1. Fully release connector locks prior to disconnection.
2. Ensure connectors are fully seated and all insulators and shields are in place when installed.
3. Never connect or disconnect electrical connections with the ignition switch ON, unless directed to do so by a test procedure.
4. Do not test continuity with a self powered test lamp.
5. Do not test continuity unless electrical power is removed from the circuit.
6. Avoid arcing when checking circuit continuity.
