Overdrive Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the overdrive switch connector.

2. Place the overdrive switch in the OVERDRIVE (overdrive operating) position and check for continuity between terminals 2 and 3.

Continuity: Should exist.

3. Place the overdrive switch in the OFF (overdrive not operating) position and check for continuity between terminals 1 and 2.

Continuity: Should exist.

4. If continuity does not exist, replace the overdrive switch.
