Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air intake hose connected to throttle body.
3. Remove accelerator and cruise control cables.
4. Remove engine coolant hose and throttle body.
5. Remove PCV hose and brake booster vacuum hoses.
6. Disconnect vacuum hose connections.
7. Remove EGR pipe and gasket.
8. Remove ground cable.
9. Remove surge tank stay.
10. Remove air intake surge take and surge tank gasket.
11. Refer to Technician Safety Information to relieve fuel pressure.
12. Remove high pressure fuel hose.
13. Disconnect fuel return hose.
14. Remove delivery pipe with fuel injector.
15. Reverse procedure to install.
