System Description





DESCRIPTION
The camshaft position sensor senses the camshaft position on the compression stroke of number 1 and number 4 cylinders, converts it into a pulse signal and inputs it to the engine control module. The engine control module then computes the fuel injection sequence, etc. based on the input signal.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
If the camshaft position sensor does not operate correctly, correct injection sequence cannot be made so that the engine may stall, run irregularly at idle or fail to accelerate normally.
