Vehicle Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
PURPOSE/OPERATIONThe
vehicle speed sensor is a reed switch. The vehicle speed sensor is built into the speedometer and coverts the transaxle gear revolutions into pulse signals which are sent to Engine Control Module
(ECM).
