CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR




Camshaft position sensor (CMP Sensor) senses the TDC point of No.1 cylinder in its compression stroke, whose signals are fed to ECM to be used to determine the sequence of fuel injection.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
If the camshaft position sensor does not operate correctly, correct sequential injection is not made so that the engine may stall or run irregularly at idle or fail to accelerate normally.
