Procedures

Automatic transaxle fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles on these units. When refilling transaxle, add only Mopar ATF Plus type 7176, Dexron II or Diamond ATF SP, or equivalent automatic transaxle fluid.
1. Raise and support front of vehicle, then position drain pan under transaxle.
2. Remove drain located at bottom of differential and allow transaxle to drain.
3. Install drain plug, then add 6.8 quarts of specified automatic transaxle fluid through transaxle dipstick hole.
4. Start engine and check fluid level as outlined under "Fluid Check".
