Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

Inhibitor Switch Adjustment Marks:





1. Place selector lever in neutral position.
2. Place manual control lever in neutral position.
3. Loosen transaxle range switch bolts and turn transaxle range switch body to align end of manual control lever with flange of transaxle range switch body.
4. Torque transaxle range switch mounting bolts.

Torque: 10 - 12 Nm (7 - 9 ft lb)

5. Loosen nut on manual control lever and lightly pull end of transaxle control cable towards front of vehicle.
6. Tighten cable locknut to proper torque.

Torque: 10 - 12 Nm (7 - 10 ft lb)

7. Ensure selector lever is in neutral position, and switch operates properly.
