Alternator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (DOHC)











1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the radiator mounting bolt.
3. Disconnect the reservoir hose and fan motor connectors.
4. Raise the vehicle.
5. Remove the mud guard-LH.






6. Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector pin.
7. Loosen the belt tension and remove the belt.
8. Remove the terminal nut and the wire from the "B" terminal.
9. Lift up the radiator, and remove the generator.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
