Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arm and blade.

3. Remove cowl top cover, air inlet garnishes, Fig. 5 and 6.
4. Remove wiper motor assembly, disconnect linkage from motor assembly and remove linkage assembly. Mark position of crank arm to wiper motor, if necessary to remove.
5. Reverse procedure to install. When installing wiper arm and blade assembly, ensure wiper blade is 1.1-1.3 inches above bottom of windshield, with wiper motor in Park position.
