HARNESS INSPECTION PROCEDURE

COMPONENT TEST PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.





2. Check the continuity between terminal 2 and sensor ground.





3. If out of specification, replace the throttle position sensor.


TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
If the idle position switch harness is OK, but the idle position switch output is abnormal, check for the following items.
1. Poorly adjusted accelerator cable or auto-cruise control cable.
2. Poorly adjusted idle position switch (fixed speed adjusting screw).
