Malfunction Indicator Lamp: Testing and Inspection
MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) INSPECTION 1.
After turning the ignition key ON, check that the light illuminates continuously without the engine running.

If the light does not illuminate continuously without the engine running, check for an open circuit in harness, blown fuse or blown bulb.
