HDS CABLE CONNECTOR COVER END REPLACEMENT

DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin provides the proper replacement procedure for the Hyundai Diagnostic System (HDS) adapter cable connector cover end (part no. 00966-16801) on the HY02 adapter cable.

Note:
The cable connector cover end and replacement procedure can also be used to replace the powertrain control module (PCM) wire harness connector for 1996-98 Elantras and all Accents & Tiburons. Replacement of the PCM harness connector will require Regional approval/authorization prior to performance of the repair.
