Oil Filter: Service and Repair
1.
Use a filter wrench to remove the
oil filter.
2.
Before installing the new
oil filter on the engine, apply clean engine oil of the surface of the rubber gasket.
3.
Tighten the
oil filter to
17-25 Nm (170-250 kg. cm, 12-18 ft. lbs.). 4.
Start and run the engine and check for engine oil leaks.
5.
After stopping the engine, check the oil level and add oil as necessary.
