Throttle Position Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT
1. After warming up the engine, make sure that the closed throttle position switch is on with the accelerator pedal in the free state.

NOTE: Check to see that the closed throttle position switch is on or off by checking the voltage between the wire at the closed throttle position switch connector and the ground wire.

When the closed throttle position switch is ON: 0V
When the closed throttle position switch is OFF: 12V
