Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

This sensor detects the temperature inside the cooling unit and sends the appropriate signals to the air conditioning control assembly.

CHECKING
1. Remove evaporator.
2. Remove evaporator temperature sensor.
3. Remove evaporator between terminals 1 and 2 of evaporator temperature sensor connector at each temperature.

Resistance
at 0 °C................. 11.1 - 11.6KOhms
at 5 °C................. 5.8 - 6.1KOhms
