Heater Core Case: Service and Repair

Heater Unit:






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery.
2. Drain the cooling water of the radiator.
3. Remove the heater hose and the drain hose.
4. Drain the refrigerant.




5. Disconnect the A/CON suction hose and the liquid tube.
6. Remove the steering wheel and the multifunction switch.
7. Remove the front and rear console.
5. Remove the lower crash pad.
9. Remove the center facia panel.
10. Remove the heater control assembly.




11. Remove the glove box.
12. Disconnect the heater cable and the thermistor switch connector.
13. Remove the main crash pad.
14. Loosen the evaporator mounting nut.
15. Remove the evaporator assembly.
16. Loosen the cowl cross member mounting nut and remove the member.
17. Loosen the heater mounting nut.
18. Remove the heater assembly.

INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse of removal.
