DESCRIPTION:
The Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM) for the 2001 MY Santa Fe contains an error on page SD-92. The Camshaft Position Sensor (sometimes called the TDC Sensor) and the Crankshaft Position Sensor are mis-labeled.
To correct the ETM, switch the labeling of the two sensors on page SD-92.
^ The Camshaft Position Sensor should be labeled Crankshaft Position Sensor.
^ The Crankshaft Position Sensor should be labeled Camshaft Position Sensor.
The schematic diagram shown, shows the corrections.
Please make a note of this TSB on the top of page SD-92 of the ETM.
