2001 SANTA FE SEAT WARMER CIRCUIT SCHEMATIC
This TSB has been updated to correct the °F seat temperatures.
DESCRIPTION:
The schematic shown for the Santa Fe seat warmer circuit, was inadvertently omitted from the shop manual.
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
Fuse 6 supplies battery voltage to the Left and Right seat warmer switches when the ignition key is "ON". When either switch is turned on, battery voltage is supplied to the seat warmer circuit in the selected seat, and grounded through G09.
A thermostat inside each seat controls the seat temperature. It turns on the warmer when the internal temperature is below 82°F (28°C), and turns off the warmer when the internal temperature reaches 99°F (37°C).
The indicator LEDs in each switch receive voltage internally from the switch when the switch is turned on, and are also grounded through G09.
