DESCRIPTION:
Transaxle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are found in the following menus:
^ Engine" - 1999 MY Sonata 2.4L.
^ Automatic Transaxle" - All others
Check for DTCs in both "Engine" and "Automatic Transaxle" menus. When erasing DTCs, it is necessary to erase codes separately in both menus.
DTC information can be found in the shop manuals and TSB listed.
