ELANTRA DIGITAL CLOCK MILITARY TIME SETTING

DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin describes the procedure for changing the 2004 Elantra digital clock from Standard Time to Military Time and from Military Time to Standard Time.

PROCEDURE:

To change the clock from Military Time to Standard Time:

1. Press and hold the "R" button for at least 3 seconds to change to Standard Time mode.

To change the clock from Standard Time to Military Time:

1. Press and hold the "R" button for at least 3 seconds.

2. Since the Standard Time does not display AM or PM, the clock may not show the changes on the display.





3. If the clock is currently reading 6:06, changing it to Military Time will display 6:06 or 18:06. If 6:06 AM is required, the clock can be cycled through (using the "H" button) 24 hours to verify that it is in Military Time mode. If 6:06 PM is required, press the "H" button to adjust the hour to the correct Military Time.
