Fuel Pump: Service and Repair
FUEL PUMP (FP)DISASSEMBLY 1.
Turn ignition key off and disconnect battery(-) cable.
2.
Remove the second seat.
3.
Remove the carpet covering service cover for
fuel pump and service cover(A).
4.
Disconnect the
fuel pump wiring connector(B).
5.
Spread out service towel around fuel hoses(C) and disconnect fuel hoses(C).
6.
Unscrew
fuel pump plate mounting bolts(D).
7.
Remove the fuel pump module.
