TAIL GATE

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove the tailgate frame upper trim.

2. Remove the tailgate glass side trim.

3. Remove the tailgate trim panel.

4. Remove the rear wiper arm.

5. Remove the hexagonal nut.

6. Remove the rear wiper motor mounting 3 bolts and disconnect the wire connector. Remove the rear wiper motor.

7. Remove the tailgate lifter with ball joint.

NOTE: When replacing the tailgate lifter, the ball joint should be replaced at the same time.

Tightening torque: 10.8-15.7 N.m (1.1-1.6 kgf.m, 8.0-11.6 lbf.ft)
