DESCRIPTION:

This TSB provides the procedure to update the Transmission Control Module with the most recent calibration for 2009 Genesis Sedan 3.8L V6 vehicles to reduce vibration or shudder from the automatic transmission during light acceleration from 50-62 mph.

Model: 2009 Genesis Sedan 3.8L V6 vehicles.

Applicable vehicle production date range: Beginning of production to May 11, 2009

Verify the version of the TCM ROM ID before attempting to update the software.
